KUSTOM KOMMUNE KR750 - H-D Street 500/750

You’re looking at the first Australian custom build of the new Harley-Davidson® Street platform. Lovingly chopped to pieces and reborn as a purpose built Flat Track race bike by the Kustom Kommune.

Inspired by Harley’s mighty XR750 Flat Track legend and the brainchild of Jimmy Goode, the KR (Kommune Racer) is ready to slide: a custom made swingarm with a twin spring cantilever style set up and a chopped and trimmed frame, plus1982 XR1000 track wheels – 19 inches in the front and rear, wrapped in chunky rubber. Topped off with a custom fit front end, twin discs and a set off fat drag style bars.

The handmade alloy tank hails from Japan and the tail from the United Kingdom. The once arch enemies are now united forever to form a single piece body, narrowed for improved sideways comfort. Our tuck and roll saddle is the work of Weird-o-pholstery and the artwork is done by none other than Karl Stehn of KDS Designs.

The all-new Harley-Davidson Revolution XTM V-Twin Engine remains untouched, ready to prove its “out of the box” dirt track potential. Keep an eye out for the KR in 2015 when it makes its dirty race debut.

Special thanks to Krank Engineering, Gonz Labs, and Harley-Davidson Australia and New Zealand, for allowing us to build, tinker and toil on the first, all-new Harley-Davidson platform in 14 years.
